Ce comit\u00e9 avait pour mission d\u2019identifier les enjeux actuels auxquels les cimeti\u00e8res sont confront\u00e9s et de proposer des pistes d\u2019action concr\u00e8tes pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e9volutifs de la population.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Les constats et recommandations issus de cette r\u00e9flexion ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9s devant les d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s repr\u00e9sentants quelque 300 cimeti\u00e8res lors du 37<sup>e<\/sup> congr\u00e8s annuel de l\u2019ACCQ. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, qui se d\u00e9roulait sous le th\u00e8me <em>Des sommets \u00e0 gravir pour l\u2019avenir de nos cimeti\u00e8res<\/em>, a eu lieu 13 juin dernier \u00e0 Saint-Sauveur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00ab Les changements d\u00e9mographiques, la baisse de la pratique religieuse, les impacts des changements climatiques, la p\u00e9nurie de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre\u2026 Tout cela a des effets bien r\u00e9els sur la gestion des cimeti\u00e8res. Les donn\u00e9es recueillies sont concr\u00e8tes, actuelles, parfois m\u00eame surprenantes. Elles nous permettent de b\u00e2tir l\u2019avenir avec lucidit\u00e9, sans renier notre pass\u00e9 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Daniel Dezainde, pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019ACCQ.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Au terme de ses travaux, le comit\u00e9 a formul\u00e9 une vingtaine de recommandations. Celles-ci guideront la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019actions concr\u00e8tes dans les mois \u00e0 venir. La sensibilisation du public \u00e0 l\u2019importance du deuil, le renforcement des relations avec les acteurs du secteur fun\u00e9raire, la conservation du patrimoine, l\u2019adaptation de la r\u00e9glementation ainsi que le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences sont au c\u0153ur de la strat\u00e9gie propos\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Fond\u00e9e en 1987 \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e des \u00e9v\u00eaques catholiques du Qu\u00e9bec, l\u2019ACCQ regroupe les cimeti\u00e8res chr\u00e9tiens du Qu\u00e9bec, qu\u2019ils soient administr\u00e9s par des paroisses, des congr\u00e9gations religieuses ou des regroupements de cimeti\u00e8res, publics et\/ou priv\u00e9s.
