The Association des cimetières chrétiens du Québec was founded in 1987 at the Assemblée des Évêques du Québec’s behest in order to bring together in one same organization all Catholic, Anglican and Protestant cemeteries in Quebec, whether belonging to a fabrique, parish, congregation or incorporated cemetery group.
Recognized by the Assemblée des Évêques du Québec, our association aims to set the standard in cemetery and memorial management, preservation and restoration.

The Association des cimetières chrétiens du Québec’s mission is to protect our members’ interests.
Our team helps our members by:
- Advocating for their principles
- Ensuring that burial and cremation guidelines and legislation are amended in their interests
- Offering them support and sharing their experience with them in regards to fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, development, operations and administration
